The Cabello-Brown collaboration comes at a time when another pop-country crossover is topping the charts. Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha's smash hit "Meant to Be" has spent 21 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart.
Maren Morris is also enjoying success on the pop charts with "The Middle," her collaboration with DJ Zedd and electronic music duo Grey.
It's not hard to imagine that Brown and Cabello's label saw an opportunity for success on both the pop and country charts, especially when both artists are at the top of their game.

Brown's latest single "Heaven" currently sits in the top 5 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. His previous single "What Ifs," featuring Lauren Alaina, hit No. 1 on the country charts last year, the first chart-topper for both Brown and Alaina.
Beginning May 3, Brown will join Chris Young's Losing Sleep World Tour.
