Keith Urban Performs Song Inspired by Harvey Weinstein Scandal at CMA Awards

Keith Urban debuted his brand new single "Female" tonight at the 2017 CMA Awards. The country star dropped the recorded version of the song earlier this morning (Nov. 8). The track was written earlier this month when the allegations of sexual harassment and assault were first made against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

That scandal also reportedly inspired former country artist Austin C. Rick to come forward with his accusations of sexual misconduct toward Nashville public relations executive Kirt Webster.

Urban won the CMA Award for Single of the Year for his hit song "Blue Ain't Your Color."
