Loretta Lynn had a massive birthday celebration in Nashville last night (April 1), featuring an all-star tribute concert at Bridgestone Arena with performances by George Strait, Miranda Lambert, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Brandi Carlile and more. But there's one country star who went above and beyond for the country legend, even going so far as to jump out of her birthday cake.

Country singer Cam led the crowd in singing "Happy Birthday" as stagehands rolled out a giant faux birthday cake. At the end of the song, Keith Urban popped out of the top of the cake and hopped into the audience to give Lynn a big hug.
Urban was fulfilling a promise he made back in January, after Lynn joked that the singer jumping out of the cake was her birthday wish.
"I am so excited to celebrate my 87th birthday with all my friends," Lynn said in a press release. "This is the first time I've ever had a birthday party! My birthday wish has come true. The only other wish I have is that Keith Urban jumps out of my birthday cake!"
Urban responded on Twitter, writing "your wish is always my command Miss Loretta!!!"
See the video of Urban's surprise appearance below.
The concert took place two weeks before Lynn's birthday, which is April 14.
Lynn has been on the road to recovery after suffering a stroke in 2017 and breaking a hip in 2018. The country legend released her latest album Wouldn't It Be Great last year.
