Last year, Keith Urban made headlines with his tribute to artists who passed away in 2016 during his New Year's Eve performance in downtown Nashville. This year, he continued the tradition with another moving medley honoring the musicians we lost in 2017.
The 10-minute-long memorial began with a rendition of Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun" as a tribute to the late Chris Cornell. He went on to perform snippets of Gregg Allman's "Midnight Rider," Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode," Don Williams' "Tulsa Time" and Glen Campbell's "Wichita Lineman" before rolling through Montgomery Gentry's "My Town" in honor of Troy Gentry, who died in a helicopter crash in September. The crowd erupted in screams as he played the iconic riff from AC/DC's "Back in Black" in memory of the band's guitarist Malcolm Young.

And just like last year, he ended things by bringing out his wife Nicole Kidman and their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, for a sweet singalong version of Tom Petty's iconic "Free Fallin'."
Nashville's New Year's Eve concert also featured performances by Maren Morris and Carly Pearce.
