Filmed by the couple's two daughters, Sunday and Faith, the clip shows Urban and Kidman singing the song's chorus, which celebrates womanhood.

"Sister, shoulder, daughter, lover/ Healer, broken halo, mother/ Nature, fire, suit of armor, soul survivor, holy water / Secret keeper, fortune teller, Virgin Mary, Scarlet Letter/ Technicolor, river wild, baby girl, woman child/ Female," the couple sings.

International Day of the Girl was created by the United Nations in 2012 to create awareness of gender inequality.

Written by Nicolle Galyon, Ross Copperman and Shane McAnally, "Female" was released in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal and the rise of the #MeToo movement. Urban debuted the song live on the 2017 CMA Awards.

This isn't the first time the couple has sang together. In April, the pair took the stage to sing Urban's song "Parallel Line." In 2016, the couple posted an adorable video of them singing Urban's hit "The Fighter" together.

Kidman is an accomplished singer herself, having showcased her musical talent in the 2001 musical Moulin Rouge.

Urban is currently on his Graffiti U Tour with Kelsea Ballerini.
