English, who was born with an inoperable cyst on her brain, severe scoliosis and cerebral palsy, is a huge fan of Urban and had been looking forward to seeing him live. But due to her declining health, English was unable to make it to Urban's concert.
WTOL-TV in Toledo reports that when nurses at the hospital realized that English wouldn't be able to attend the show, they launched a social media campaign to bring Urban directly to her. Urban caught word of the campaign and made an unannounced visit to the hospital on Thursday.
Marissa's mother told WTOL that Marissa keeps Urban memorabilia beside her in the hospital.
A video posted on Facebook shows Urban serenading English with her favorite song "Blue Ain't Your Color." As seen in the video, the country star even switches up the lyrics a little to include Marissa's name.

Marissa's family shared on social media how much Urban's visit meant to them.
"(Keith Urban) you are a class act and we could never express how much this meant to us today," Marissa's sister wrote on Instagram.
During the concert, which some of Marissa's family and nurses attended, Urban called Marissa his "biggest fan" and dedicated the entire show to her.
