The American Idol winner is no stranger to reality TV. While her other experiences focus on her music career, we can now add talk show host to her resume. Here are 8 things we know about the upcoming "Kelly Clarkson Show."

1. It's a daytime talk show

The new show will air on NBC right before The Ellen Degeneres Show. Daytime TV provides the singer with a vast market to be able to connect with people through remarkable stories and other quality content. That sounds like a solid afternoon of great television to me.

2. She's bringing her band

The house band on her show will be her touring band.

3. The show will air this year

According to NBC Universal owned television stations president Valari Staab, the show is set to launch this fall. Specifically, on September 9. Mark your calendars!

4. She has a strong production team

According to Variety, Executive Producer Alex Duda is a five-time Daytime Emmy winner, previously working on other talk shows with stars like Steve Harvey and Tyra Banks. It seems that Clarkson is in good hands. She will be co-producing the show with Duda and her husband, Brandon Blackstock.

5. There will be music

Like The Voice, the show is under production in Los Angeles. She will have musical acts, celebrity guest interviews, games and segments focused on everyday people. She even plans on grabbing guests from the audience to hop on stage for impromptu conversations which will be live-streamed.

6. She filmed the pilot

According to ET, the pilot episode featured special guests Chloe Grace Moretz, Josh Groban and Terry Crews. She also featured a group of ladies from North Carolina to discuss their quilting, an employee from a homeless shelter and a couple with bedroom problems.

7. We might get to see her kids

With both parents on set, Clarkson has eluded that we'll most likely catch glimpses of her children, River and Remington. Odds are we'll get to see her hubby as well.

Her upcoming talk show is part of an overall deal with NBC which includes returning as a coach on the beloved singing show.
