Kelsea Ballerini Serves Barbie Vibes in Gorgeous Pink Satin Gown on 2023 CMA Awards Red Carpet

Kelsea Ballerini looked like a classic Hollywood starlet.

The classy, pink gown Kelsea Ballerini wore Wednesday (Nov. 8) on the CMA Awards red carpet may not qualify as country Barbiecore, but it's still a look you'd more expect from Margot Robbie.

People identified the dress as a "ballerina-pink silk satin draped gown from Christian Siriano's spring/summer 2024 collection." High heels, bright red lipstick, glistening earrings and long, blonde locks that fall into curls contribute to how much Ballerini looks as much like a classic Hollywood starlet as a modern country superstar.

Ballerini didn't walk the red carpet alone. She was joined by boyfriend Chase Stokes, a star of Netflix's Outer Banks. He wore a tuxedo, shirt and shoes that are as black as his curly hair and facial stubble.

Their romance has blossomed since the first of the year, with the couple becoming social media official in February and Ballerini changing lyrics to one of her songs live to namedrop Stokes' Outer Banks character.

Ballerini's divorce from her husband of five years, fellow country artist Morgan Evans, was finalized in Aug. 2022.

There were no dress-alikes this year. In 2022, Mackenzie Porter wore the same blue Balenciaga dress as Ballerini, which the latter had a little fun with on social media.

"It's giving: blue is the moment. It's giving: great minds think alike. It's giving: I immediately changed into a green dress because she looked so good in it," Ballerini joked on TikTok (as quoted by The Independent).

Ballerini's up for two CMA Awards this year: Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for Subject to Change. She's won two in her career, taking home Video of the Year and Musical Event of the Year in 2021 for Kenny Chesney collaboration "Half of My Hometown."
