Interesting stuff for those of us itching to see Chesney back on the road, but it's not the only takeaway about the "Boys of Fall" singer's friendship with a Super Bowl Champion, Pro Football Hall of Famer and Green Bay Packers legend.
For instance, Favre was among the famous Chesney fans to catch the singer's set one year at Bayou Country Superfest, held at college football mecca Tiger Stadium on the LSU campus.
This led to a superstar hangout session on Chesney's tour bus with Favre and actor Vince Vaughan.
"He was totally opposite of what he is in the movies," Favre said of Vaughan. "He is laid back, loves country music and loves Kenny... We're sitting on the bus and Kenny's getting ready to go play in front of 85,000 people, and the damn bus catches on fire."
"That's a true story," Chesney adds. "I say, 'Brett, do you smell smoke?' He goes, 'Yeah, I've been smelling smoke.'"

Favre joked that he thought Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard might've been hidden on the bus getting high, which would've explained away the smoke.
"I had to go on stage, and when I went on stage, they were trying to get as many of my personal belongings as they could off my bus," Chesney added. "By the time I got offstage, I didn't have a bus. It was crazy."
Favre, a Mississippi native, has also had Darius Rucker as a guest on his podcast.
