Kid Rock took to social media over the weekend to explain the viral footage from last week that shows him unleash a profanity-laced tirade against Oprah Winfrey and others at his own Big Ass Honky Tonk & Rock 'n' Roll Steakhouse in Nashville.

"My people tried to get me to do The Oprah Winfrey show years ago and her people wanted me to write down 5 reasons why I loved her and her show. I said f--k that and her. End of story," Rock writes in a Nov. 29 Facebook post. He adds that he was "just saying what a lot of people think."
"I have a big mouth and drink too much sometimes, shocker," Rock continues. "I also work hard and do a ton to help others out but that's just back page news because the press hates I love Trump, f--k them too. I am what I am, I ain't what I ain't!"

Despite many headlines pointing out that security guards appear to force Rock offstage, he claims such reports by TMZ and other outlets misinterpret the situation. "I did not get removed from MY OWN BAR (fake news)," the artist says. "If anything I was leaving and the cops were helping me out ... Hey, at least I don't drink and drive!"
In addition to Winfrey, Rock also ripped into The View host Joy Behar. Late last year, Rock knocked Behar during an appearance on Fox & Friends. He was subsequently removed as grand marshal of the 2018 Nashville Christmas Parade because of his comments.
Rock's online clarification railed against internet trolls and talk show hosts while praising Donald Trump and clarifying his appreciation for one person mentioned during his drunken rant: Kathie Lee Gifford.
Rock, real name Robert James Ritchie, has infuriated other fan bases this year with his "honest guy" stances and controversial Tweets, including Taylor Swift's loyal Swifties.
