Band member Kimberly Schlapman is now the proud mother of a second daughter, Dolly Grace. She and her husband Stephen welcomed their new bundle of joy to the family through a domestic adoption, according to Sounds Like Nashville.
The bubbly blonde singer shared the news with fans on Instagram Wednesday morning.
"The New Year brought our family new love," she captioned the sweet family snap.
The adoption of Schlapman's new baby girl marks the beginning of a busy year ahead. On top of mom duties at home, the country star is also hitting the road with Little Big Town. The band is slated for a hectic lineup of shows in 2017, including six performances at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
The group will be out on the road promoting their forthcoming album, The Breaker, due for release on Feb. 24. The first single from the new record, "Better Man," was penned by Taylor Swift. The tune has dominated the country charts since its release in October.
Despite a crazy year of music and touring, Kimberly is still making time for her growing family. She and her husband wed in 2006 and are also parents to their biological daughter, 9-year-old Daisy Pearl. Congratulations to the Schlapmans on the newest addition to their family!
