Lady Antebellum announced on Tuesday that they've switched over from working with Capitol Nashville to a new deal with Big Machine Label Group in Nashville. Luckily for us, the trio says they plan on working on new music soon to mark this new era in their career.

Since Lady Antebellum got their start in 2008, the group has accumulated seven Grammy awards, nine No. 1 hits on the country music charts and a No. 2 hit on Billboard's mainstream Hot 100 with "Need You Now." All of their albums and singles, including 2017's Heart Break, were released through Capitol Records, but the group sees the recent change to Big Machine Label Group as the perfect opportunity to propel themselves forward.
"We have been truly blessed throughout our career to work with some of the brightest people in music," Lady A singer Hillary Scott stated. "We've watched BMLG become the powerhouse they are from the sidelines and couldn't be more excited to become part of their family. We hope to honor all the people who have been part of our story over the last 10 years — can't wait to work with some old friends again and are excited for where it takes us all together!"

Members of Lady Antebellum have professional ties to several of the higher ups at BMLG, including Scott, whose mother (Linda Davis) and father (Lang Scott) worked with BMLG President/CEO Scott Borchetta and BMLG President Jimmy Harnen while they were with Dreamworks. And it sounds like BMLG Records is equally as excited to work with Lady A as they step forward.
"Our extreme belief in Lady A, admiration of their amazing career and the greatness they have yet to achieve, as well as being their biggest fans," Harnen stated, "makes this the thrill of a lifetime."
"Lady Antebellum is the consummate vocal group," Borchetta adds. Hillary, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood have a special chemistry that only the greatest bands of all time have, and what you see is what they sing — and it's the sort of thing no label can create, only magnify. I am delighted that we get to assist them in writing the next chapter in their extraordinary career."
Lady A will be in good company at BMLG with labelmates Taylor Swift, Florida Georgia Line and Rascal Flatts. They're currently on tour with dates lined up across the U.S. through Nov. 3.
