Lainey Wilson puts the bell bottom in Bell Bottom Country. The singer and Yellowstone star went bold at the 2023 CMT Music Awards red carpet, donning a ruby-red V-neck jumpsuit with a leafy blue velvet appliqué, topping it off with a black cowboy hat featuring quail feather accents. The flared-leg look is a clever nod to her 2022 album Bell Bottom Country and her penchant for a good pair of bell bottoms.

Wilson leads this year's pack of CMT Music Awards nominees with four nods across major categories, and the "Heart Like A Truck" singer is every bit the leading lady in a '70s-inspired look. The long-sleeve, flared-leg jumpsuit features a sapphire-blue palm frond motif and matching necktie. Wilson added a black cowboy hat, leaving her long blonde tresses in loose, beachy waves for an elevated bohemian feel.
Wilson accessorized with long gold chains and an eye-popping sapphire medallion, along with gold sunburst earrings and an enviable collection of dainty gold and turquoise rings. The singer highlighted the jumpsuit's plunging neckline with a studded metallic belt at the waist. A matching golden cuff gives the red-and-blue getup a distinct Wonder Woman vibe - which, with a whopping four nominations under her belt, is right on the mark.
"It's wild," Lainey told CMT about her many nominations, adding that the honors are a pinch-me moment for the star. "I mean, here we are. Never in a million years."
Wilson is up for the coveted Video of the Year award, as well as Collaborative Video of the Year, for her song "wait in the truck," featuring HARDY. She's also nominated for Female Video of the Year for her single "Heart Like A Truck" and CMT Performance of the Year for her duet with Cole Swindell, "Never Say Never," at last year's CMT Music Awards.
It's peace, love, and (hopefully) another feather in the cap for Lainey Wilson tonight.
