A newborn baby's first photo shoot is always a special thing, but it meant something more to the parents of little Wyatt.
Markie Coffer and Travis Matheson, Wyatt's parents, attended the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival together while Markie was still pregnant. They were in the crowd when shots were fired down on the crowd during Jason Aldean's headlining set. The pair were able to escape the festival grounds in Las Vegas and headed straight to the hospital. Two days later, Markie gave birth to Wyatt.
Now, just two weeks after the attack, they decided to mark the tragic events that surrounded the joyful arrival of their son through a set of moving photos. According to BabyCenter.com, Shiran of MBF Photography offered the couple the complimentary shoot after hearing about their story.
"He is a beacon of hope," Shiran said of Wyatt. "We feel so fortunate to have met both Wyatt and his parents. Thank you for trusting us to take photos of your beautiful baby boy."
