Le Creuset Debuts Gorgeous Collection Inspired by Lavender Fields

If you can't make it to Provence, France this year to see the breathtaking lavender fields, there is one way to add a subtle, pretty pop of the Pantone 2018 Color of the Year to your life. Le Creuset just debuted a gorgeous lavender collection of enameled cast iron cookware. The beautiful stoneware is a soft purple with a slight ombré effect radiating from the bottom of the pots and the center of the lids.

Inspired by the amazing and vibrant lavender fields in the south of France, this collection comes from a brand that has been making iconic French cookware since 1925. The collection is only available at Sur La Table, and features 10 classic Le Creuset stoneware items in the beautiful color, like this fancy grill pan.

While Le Creuset certainly isn't in my budget, it's hard not to browse and dream of the day when one of these purple beauties will sit proudly in my kitchen. The least expensive offering is about $20 for the Le Creuset Signature Cocotte in 8 ounces, which is perfect for single servings of French Onion Soup or a baked macaroni and cheese. Because a woman can dream, here are my three favorite items in this new lavender hue.

3. The Le Creuset Signature Cocotte, 8 oz.

I'm a sucker for a cute cocotte. I currently have four bone-white Staub cocottes that I use for my mise en place when I'm cooking a new recipe and also when whipping up lava cakes for dessert at home.

Le Creuset cookware is known for breaking the bank, but this is surprisingly affordable when it comes to kitchen accessories. Would you use this in your bakeware sets enough to justify it?

2. Le Creuset Signature Braiser, 3.5 qt.

Of course I could never afford to add this $294 pan to any cookware set I own, but this is all about a wish list! I'm in need of a good braiser, one that's deeper than my deepest cast iron skillet that can also function as a casserole dish when needed.

This lavender fields-inspired dish is seriously high-quality nonstick cookware, and if I owned it, I'd be whipping up braised brisket more often.

1. Le Creuset Signature Dutch Oven, 7.25 quart

Let me preface this by saying that I would never, ever spend $369.95 on a Dutch oven. Let me also say that if I owned this pot, it'd be the prettiest dang thing in my kitchen. While I do have an oval Dutch oven I love, this particular one is stockpot size, perfect for my New Year's resolution to make my own broth more often.

All of the Le Creuset colors are gorgeous, but I'm surely partial to the purple, blue, and pink shades that they continue to release. Of course your kitchen tools should never break the bank, but maybe you have a few gift cards to Sur La Table?
