The music lineup for Rodeo Austin 2017 is here, and there are some solid shows to go check out.

A solid country lineup, the rodeo performances feature legends to young bloods, and just about everyone in between. In my opinion, the first two names that jump out from the lineup are none other than Charley Pride and Dwight Yoakam.
The Opry Legend and a 90s Country Star will undoubtedly be two sets you will not want to miss. Then again, if music history isn't really your bag - maybe partying is more your thing -- Cole Swindell is coming through. Following the release of You Should Be Here, Swindell's show will almost certainly sell out.
While plenty of country and red dirt acts make up the lineup, it's not all twang and two-stepping. Top 40 stars Elle King and Fitz and the Tantrums secured headlining spots for the rodeo, adding a nice a little twist to the lineup. But even better yet, gospel R&B legend Patti LaBelle is performing one night, as well.
Other artists slated to perform at the Austin Rodeo include Texas legend Kevin Fowler and "The Gambler" himself, Kenny Rogers.
Tickets for Rodeo Austin go on sale this Friday, Jan. 13, at 10 a.m.
