This DIY Log Planter is an Easy and Unique Addition to Any Yard

I'm all about a spring refresh and adding some extra flowers and greenery to your garden is an easy way to breathe new life into your space. If you're looking for a unique flower planter then look no further than the log planter. It's an easy DIY project -- all you need is an old log and a couple of old tree stumps to use as the legs of the planter. The end result is a seriously cool rustic planter that will leave everyone impressed with your DIY skills.

Instead of throwing out your rotting wooden logs, you can just carve out the center to create this cool wood planter. Essentially just cut the tree log in half and fill it with potting soil. And then you can be creative with what you put inside. You could make it a succulent planter or you could create an herb garden.
