Those Saturday morning cartoons just got a little sweeter with new Lucky Charms Frosted Flakes Cereal. This month General Mills is releasing a much familiar flavor to rival cereal competitor, Kellogg's. The mash up between frosted flakes and lucky charms is here and we already have our spoons.

Available at major retailers and grocery stores this month, this new cereal brings together two of your favorite flavors-corn flakes and marshmallows for a limited time.
This cereal rivalry runs deep. Last year Kellogg's rolled out a limited release of Frosted Flakes with marshmallows but the critiques were less than kind. Junk Banter complained that the cereal was too sweet, "There must be at least 100g of sugar per spoonful," while Cerealously joked that the marshmallow shapes looked like "coughed-up hairballs of Tony the Tiger's chest fur." Ouch.
This year, General Mills took a stand and made their own version of the cereal, including a blue box and white font design similar to the original corn flake cereal. And no worries of getting in trouble: the name, "frosted flakes" is too generic to be trademarked. Check and mate General Mills.
The cereal has been seen on store shelves such as Walmart and RiteAid. In fact, the cereal brand has their own locator you can use here to find a cereal box near you.
And people are loving it so far. Just check out some of these tweets:

While at the store keep an eye out for two more of General Mill's newest cereals: Cinnamon Toast Crunch Blasted Shreds and Peanut Butter Chocolate Blasted Shreds. The shredded wheat cereal is either flavored with cinnamon or peanut butter and chocolate.
