The cute clip starts with a stereotypical suburban family heading off to church. But we quickly realize this isn't their story. Instead, we see the a flaming couch and somebody passed out on the roof of the house next door.
Yep, you guessed it — that's more Luke Combs' style.
But his Sunday morning recovery process is rudely interrupted by a soon-to-be ex-girlfriend who bursts into the room. Luckily for Combs, that's about the only bad luck he endures in the video.
His day features a long drive and some quality boat time. He gets to go fishing and hang with some buddies. Oh, he also manages to get the number from a Hooters waitress (who picks up on the first ring). It also features a confetti party in a convenience store. Because no good fortune country song is complete without winning a scratch off lottery ticket.
The best part? He doesn't have to see his "ex future mother-in-law" anymore. Check out the video below.
"When It Rains It Pours" is Combs' second single since his debut song "Hurricane" went through the stratosphere. That song is at 75 million Spotify streams and counting.
Combs' new single hit the radio waves back in June and has enjoyed a steady climb since then. He's currently sitting at No. 14 on the Hot Country Songs Billboard chart and No. 20 on the Country Airplay chart.
