Chip and Joanna Gaines are experts of home design and cooking, and Waco residents already know how delicious their restaurant Magnolia Table and bakery Silos Baking Co. are. The duo has recently opened another food truck, Maggie's Sweet Shoppe, and its fried mini pies sound heavenly.

Maggie's Sweet Shoppe
The new food truck will serve hand-held pies and gourmet sodas. The "short and sweet" menu includes lemon blueberry, brown sugar maple, sugar cookie, chocolate, sopapilla and strawberry hand pies for $4. For a extra $2, you can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for the ultimate sweet treat.
The gourmet sodas sound equally delicious, from the Drive-in Movie (Coke or Diet Coke, vanilla, cherry, and lime) to the Sock Hop (sparkling soda, strawberry, and lemon). As a spokeswoman says "There's a little something for everyone at Magnolia Market, and we are now serving hand-held pies and gourmet flavored sodas to satisfy your sweet tooth."
The food truck will be right behind the WIFFLE ball field at the Silos, about an hour and half from Fort Worth, Texas. This spot is the perfect place to stop for a refreshing soda and a sweet hand pie, and it's next to Silos Baking Co., a haven of cupcakes, pastries, and other confectionery. Joanna and Chip Gaines made this little building what it is today on Season 4 of Fixer Upper, and it feels like an old-school bakery come to life.
For a pick-me-up as you consume the many sweets that the baking company and mini pie food truck have to offer, head to Magnolia Press Coffee Co. for a cup of coffee.
Magnolia Market at the Silos is also open, with COVID-19 precautions. Visit the Gaines' new food truck at 11 am to 3 pm Monday-Thursday or 11 am to 5 pm on Friday and Saturday.
