The new baby will be the couple's third child. Price had twin boys, Ezra and Judah, in 2010. Ezra passed away in infancy due to a heart condition. Price sang about the loss of her son in her song "Hands of Time," which was featured on her debut album Midwest Farmer's Daughter.
Next year, Price will join Brandi Carlile's Girls Just Wanna Weekend, an all-women music festival at the Hard Rock Hotel in Mexico's Riviera Maya. The festival, featuring Carlile, Price, Maren Morris, Indigo Girls, Patty Griffin, Lucius, Ruby Amanfu, the Secret Sisters and KT Tunstall, runs from Jan. 30 to Feb. 3.
In September, Price performed at the 2018 Farm Aid, where she joined Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats and Lukas Nelson for a rollicking cover of The Band's "The Shape I'm In."
Price was nominated for Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (for "A Little Pain") and Album of the Year (for All American Made) at this year's Americana Music Awards.
