In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, Texas native Miranda Lambert has sent her MuttNation Foundation team south to Houston with trailers full of pet supplies and food.

In a Facebook post, the team said they were headed south at the request of their founder. "We are headed to Houston to give relief to municipal shelters. We will help transport any animals currently in shelters so that there is room for displaced animals from Hurricane Harvey!" the post read.
Earlier this week, Lambert also shared a link for Red Cross donations and her love for her home state via Twitter.

As the rain continues to fall, folks are helping out in any way they can. Some police officers even helped to save a herd of cattle from the floodwaters.
Of course, Lambert isn't the only country artist who is trying to help out those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Many other artists offered prayers and expressed their concerns for the state.
Stars like Chris Young, Lady Antebellum, Josh Abbott Band, and even radio DJ Bobby Bones made monetary contributions to victims. If you want to help Texans who were affected by this historic storm, you can find ways to donate here.
