On Sunday, NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. competed in the Daytona 500. 16 years ago, his legendary father Dale Earnhardt crashed and died on the final lap of the same race.

Earnhardt, whose nickname was "The Intimidator," left behind a tremendous legacy. Earnhardt Jr. has gone on to become one of the best drivers in sport's history.
To honor the father-son legacy, NASCAR created an emotional video tribute set to Zac Brown Band's new single "My Old Man." The clip starts with footage of Earnhardt Jr. as a young kid with his dad and ends with his career wins as an adult.
