Indeed, Kim Delaney, who played Detective Diane Russell across several seasons of NYPD Blue, is seemingly back together with her third husband, James Morgan.
The public drama began over the summer. Morgan was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on July 20th, law enforcement sources told TMZ at the time. Morgan and the 64-year-old actress allegedly got into a verbal altercation during the Delta flight from Detroit to LA.
Reportedly, Morgan also got into it with a flight attendant.
Delta told TMZ in a statement at the time that they have "zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first."
The NYPD Blue star reportedly filed the restraining order against Morgan and began divorce proceedings shortly after.
However, Delaney has apparently had a change of heart.
TMZ reports the couple is back together, with the Army Wives's attorney asking a judge to dismiss the restraining order. According to legal documents obtained by the outlet, her attorney told the judge the couple had reconciled.
Veteran Actress and Her Third Husband Have Had Plenty of Drama in Recent Months
Morgan's arrest in July is just the latest bit of drama the couple has had since getting hitched in 2022.
In February, Morgan was also arrested at the apartment he shares with the Army Wives star. According to Page Six, officers responded to a "verbal disturbance in a public area" near the couple's Marina Del Rey home. Morgan was detained for "obstructing or delaying a public officer."
Meanwhile, back in March 2025, Delaney was arrested at her home alongside her husband after a "heated argument turned physical," per Page Six. The General Hospital alum was reportedly charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon. Morgan was reportedly charged with for misdemeanor battery.
Morgan reportedly claimed Delaney tried to run him over with her car before their mutual arrest.
However, the veteran actress's Instagram paints a picture of wedded bliss with her current husband. Snaps on her grid from just last year show the couple nuzzling together and enjoying lobster.
Here's hoping the seemingly volatile relationship has hit its stride, and their tied knot remains tangled.
