"Hey people! I'm thinking about doing something at Ole Red Tishomingo later this week. Not a big deal at all but just maybe play a few songs," he wrote on Twitter. "I'll send an update for y'all in a day or so!"

Ole Red is a chain of restaurant, bar and music venue combos with two locations in Nashville —downtown and in the airport— plus ones in Gatlinburg, Tenn., Orlando, Fla. and Tishomingo, Okla. Earlier this year, ground was broken on Ole Red Las Vegas at Caesars Entertainment's Horseshoe Las Vegas.
It's not unusual for Shelton to take the stage at an Ole Red near you. On April 29, he made an unadvertised appearance at the Nashville International Airport location. Shelton revealed that it was his first time visiting the airport branch — much less his first time on its stage — before performing the bar's namesake, "Ol' Red." Footage shared in an Instagram reel by Ole Red captures the crowd's reaction upon Shelton's arrival from the kitchen. We also get a vantage point of how few weren't capturing social media content of their own during the Oklahoma native and The Voice coaches' one-song set.
On July 15, 2021, Shelton and spouse Gwen Stefani made their first public appearance since their wedding at Ole Red Tishomingo for what served as a live rehearsal for Shelton's Friends and Heroes Tour. In that case, Shelton revealed his afternoon set time the day-of, joking that the rehearsal "may not be good, but at least it's free."
