Love Pickles? Here Are 10 Pickle-Flavored Things to Satisfy Your Obsession

I love pickles. I make them, eat them plain, slap them on a sandwich, and dice them up for relish. I've watched the Portlandia sketch We Can Pickle That! more times than I'd like to admit, and I'm a serious offender of using the #icanpicklethat hashtag. I might self-describe as pickle-obsessed. So after eating a bag of dill pickle-flavored almonds, I had to have more.

Would it surprise you to know that a search on Amazon for "pickle-flavored" returns over 200 results? I guess I'm not the only one! From pickle-flavored candy canes to pickle juice soda, there are hundreds of products out there to satisfy the most pickle obsessed person in your life.

1. Pickle Candy Canes

Alongside bacon-flavored and coffee-flavored candy canes are pickle flavored candy canes, and they have taken the internet by storm. Archie McPhee is into making weird candies.

On their website, they call this the Santa pickle. With his briny generosity, he brings pickled flavor to all the good boys and girls.

2. Dill Pickle Mints

Another pickle-flavored product brought to you by Archie McPhee. These savory mints pack the bold flavors of pickles into a tiny little mint. This may be a good way to find out if your date is as pickle obsessed as you are.

You can find your own pack on Amazon for only $5.24.

3. Pickle Gum

To go alongside your pickle mints, why not chew some pickle gum?

I suppose that carrying a tin of gum is easier than stuffing a pickle in your pocket.

4. Pickle Juice Soda

Pickle-flavored soda may seem way out there, but I'm not sure the idea is too irrational. I've been known to have a pickleback with a shot of whiskey, so why not infuse that brine into a refreshing, bubbly soda?

Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop has locations in Pennsylvania and Ohio, so you can try one of these bizarre sodas for $2.50 at the store, or pony up for $9.99 and order it online.

5. Pickle Vodka

Is the best part of the bloody Mary the drink itself or the multitude of pickles served as garnish? A pickle-infused bloody Mary would solve that debate!

Infuse your own pickle-flavored vodka by combining 3 parts vodka with 1 part pickle brine. Throw a pickle spear or two in there for looks and let it infuse for 2-3 days.

If you don't drink it all, this makes a great holiday present! Or skip the work and buy it pre-made from Chilled Dills, Naked Jay, or Birmingham's.

6. Dill Pickle Chips

Can we say love at first chip? Pickle chips are the new salt-and-vinegar chips. Why settle for the mouth puckering flavor of vinegar alone when you can have a burst of pickle tang alongside it?

From Utz to Lays to Pringles, all of the chip makers are adding a pickle flavor to their lineup.

7. Pickle Popcorn

Pickle flavored popcorn is popping up everywhere (pardon the pun!). Choose from your favorite brand of bagged popcorn, buy packaged seasoning to sprinkle on top home popped popcorn, or check out this flavored pickle recipe and make your own.

You can even find pre-seasoned popcorn kernels in dill pickle on Amazon for only $4.75.

8. Pickle Ice Cream

This sounds like a perfect gift for some of my pregnant friends! Squash your craving for pickles and ice cream by combining the two flavors into one bowl.

Pittsburgh Ice Cream Company in Pennsylvania is serving up pickled flavored cones alongside other fun flavors like tarragon and beet n' goat. If you can't find the flavor at a store near you, never fear! Here's a recipe for peanut butter and pickle ice cream.

9. Pickle Ice Pops

If ice cream isn't your thing, Van Holten is making pickle flavored freeze pops. They're actually intended for athletes to rehydrate and prevent cramps!

It's real Van Holten natural flavor pickle brine, enhanced with electrolytes to replace minerals as you work out.

10. Dill Pickle Almonds

And now for the product that started my obsession: dill pickle almonds. I'm not sure how the Whole Foods brand 365 Everyday Value is making this, but they really do taste like pickles!

Other pickle flavored nuts are available on the market, too, like cashews and peanuts.
