What Are Pillsbury Pumpkin Spice Rolls?
Made with Cinnabon cinnamon and served with a creamy pumpkin spice icing, these treats make the perfect back to school breakfast without spending hours behind the stove. Each container contains five large rolls which bake up big and plump. You just can't go wrong with warm cinnamon rolls.
To prepare the limited edition pumpkin spice rolls, preheat your oven to 350F and grease a square or round cake pan with cooking spray or butter. Place the rolls in the pan (or if you like your edges crispy, place them on a cookie sheet) and bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and frost with the included pumpkin spice frosting.
This baked good marks the beginning of the pumpkin spice product season. Starbucks has yet to announce the arrival of their pumpkin spice latte, but as soon as the leaves start to change, you can bet those seasonal drinks will be in the stores.
Other than preparing pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls, you can also use the limited edition Pillsbury pumpkin spice rolls to create a variety of different recipes. One recipe, which is available on the Pillsbury website, shows you how to create Pumpkin Cheesecake Cinnamon Roll Cups using the roll dough, cream cheese, canned pumpkin, powdered sugar, and chopped pecans.
Cut the dough into 10 rolls and place in a muffin tin. Meanwhile beat together the cream cheese, pumpkin, powdered sugar, and 1 Tbsp of the included icing. Fill the muffin tins and bake dough for 18-23 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and decorate with the remaining icing.
