Who is The Pioneer Woman?
The Pioneer Woman is a home cooking tv show on the Food Network. It stars award-winning blogger and best-selling cookbook author Ree Drummond, a city girl turned cowgirl.
She is married to Ladd Drummond, a rancher, and they have five children: Alex, Paige, Bryce, Jamar, and Todd. She is very active on social media and has written a children's book and an autobiography.
Here are some of the Pioneer Woman episodes we think you should definitely watch if you want to see the best of Ree, her family, and their lives together in Oklahoma.
1. Home on the Ranch
This was the very first episode of the series! Chicken fried steak, cowboy breakfast sandwiches, and sunrise punch are just a few of the recipes featured in the premiere episode.
2. Home Sweet Home: Easy Eats
If you want to learn some simple recipes, check out this episode. It has creamy lemon chicken and sweet potato and mushroom carbonara.
3. 16-Minute Tex Mex
This episode showcases some of Ree's famous 16-minute meals! We really want to try the fried egg-topped breakfast tostada and pineapple chicken tacos.
4. Kidswap Sleepover
How cute was this episode featuring Ree's best friend Hyacinth? And what's better than biscuits and fried eggs for comfort food?
5. Dad's Dinner Delivery

6. Friendship Fiesta
A good key lime pie episode is hard to pass up, if you ask us!
7. Fourth of July
In this holiday episode, Ree makes food for the hundreds of guests who got invited to the ranch. And you thought family dinner planning was tough!
8. Birthday for Two
Ree and her husband celebrate their birthdays with skillet spaghetti and meatballs, pesto garlic bread pinwheels, a chopped wedge salad, and a black forest cake that looks to die for.

We love Thanksgiving, and we love a good potluck, so of course, we love this episode! Pumpkin rum cake, glazed ham, slow cooker sweet potatoes? Grab us some plates!
10. Film Crew Takeout
This is one of those Pioneer Woman episodes that's also super sweet. In it, Ree makes meals "...for her kid crew to take home after a busy day of filming," the FoodNetwork.com description notes. It features veggie-packed burritos and Mauricio's Tortilla Soup. Plus, BBQ ribs!
