The Pistol Annies, who released their new album Interstate Gospel  today (Nov. 2), stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to deliver a captivating performance of "Best Years of My Life."

Ashley Monroe kicks off the tune with a stunner of an opening line "I picked a good day for a recreational Percocet/ I've got an itch to just get high," setting the scene for the song's prevailing sense of loneliness and desperation.

The song was one of the first tunes released from Interstate Gospel along with "Got My Name Changed Back" and the album's title track.
