Watch the Pistol Annies Reunite Onstage in New York

On Thursday, July 19, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley joined Miranda Lambert on stage during her 2018 Bandwagon Tour stop at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, N.Y. to perform "Hell On Heels," a big hit for the Pistol Annies.

As one of country music's brightest supergroups, combining the talent of three powerful songwriters and musicians, the Pistol Annies gathered a loyal following of fans after coming out with two records, Hell On Heels and Annie Up, released in 2011 and 2013, respectively. The group seemed to dissolve after Annie Up's release, each member favoring their solo careers over touring in support of the album.

Several Instagram posts this year suggest that Lambert (Lonestar Annie), Monroe (Hippie Annie) and Presley (Holler Annie) are eager to share the stage once again. The Annies reunited in March this year performing together during Lambert's Livin' Like Hippies Tour in Lexington, Ky. and Cleveland, Ohio. Photos also confirm that the group is back in the recording studio, working together on a new album.

The recent reunion in New York caught on video by fans and uploaded to Instagram and YouTube shows how much excitement still bubbles around the Pistol Annies. Concertgoers are ready to sing along with the women, especially with their first hit written with shared lead vocals by all three Annies, "Hell On Heels." This song marked the first track and single off of their album of the same name that reached No. 1 on Billboard's Country Album Chart.

At this time, there's no word as to when these Nashville country stars will release their new music, but this will give old fans plenty of time to reacquaint themselves with the Annies' work like "Hush Hush," "Takin' Pills" and "Tulsa Time," a song the group recorded for the tribute album, Gentle Giants: The Songs of Don Williams.
