The album's latest release, which Wide Open Country is premiering today, is a pure country honky tonk heartbreaker about a man coming to terms with the fact that the one he loves is gone for good.
Scott says "It Is What It Is" captures the pain and loneliness of finally acknowledging the end of a relationship.
"Sometimes you may think it's over and sometimes you know it is, and that's a lonely place to be," Scott tells Wide Open Country.

Scott kicks off his U.S. tour on March 1.
