"Skeeter and I broke up in May, so, unfortunately, we will not be spending that time together," the country music superstar told Us Weekly. "We still talk and we're friends, but just decided to go our separate ways."
McEntire met Lasuzzo, a retired oil geologist, while vacationing with friends in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in 2017. Kix Brooks of Brooks & Dunn, a mutual friend of McEntire and Lasuzzo, introduced them.
"We just had the best time," McEntire told People. "And so two nights later, we all went out to dinner, and he bought my dinner."
In their two years of dating, McEntire and Lasuzzo divided their time between Nashville, Wyoming and Lasuzzo's home of Pottsboro, Texas, which is located just 90 minutes from McEntire's family home in Oklahoma.
People reports that the couple often vacationed together, spending time in Iceland, South Africa and Italy.
