It has been a long journey in finding a new owner for the home. Reba first put it on the market in September 2016, and it didn't find a buyer until July of this year. It's a fine piece of riverfront property that boasts a horse barn, pool and tennis court.
Reba shared her former abode with ex-husband Narvel Blackstock in Lebanon, Tenn., but sold it after they split. The property sat empty for nearly a year before it finally went to real estate developer Paul Burch for $5 million, almost $3 million under the asking price.
Burch has now decided to split up the property into 15 parcels of about 1.83 acres each. He plans to build new homes on those segments. Real estate experts suggest Burch could sell them at somewhere in the range of $700,000 each. That would put his profit at about $2 million over his original $5 million investment.
