Literally, the only ingredient you need for this recipe is bacon. Really, that's it. You can use thick-cut bacon, thinner bacon, different meat varieties of bacon — the sky is really the limit here. The cook time may change slightly depending on the thickness of the meat, but it's not going to be drastically different.
Before anything else, you're going to preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, lay the bacon inside your air fryer basket in a single layer — there can be some overlap, but go ahead and cut the bacon in half if you want to.
The bacon will need to be fried for 8-10 minutes minimum. Halfway through, it's a good idea to check the current doneness of the bacon with tongs. Rearrange them if needed.
When you're happy with the crispness of the bacon, transfer it to a plate on your countertop lined with paper towels to soak up any excess bacon grease, watching for splatters when you set them down. And that's that! You've got cooked bacon with barely any mess. Enjoy!
