Take on the Giant Red Velvet Hot Chocolate Challenge

Weighing in at 15 pounds, this steamy drink comes with decorated jumbo marshmallows, mini cupcakes, and a giant dollop of cream cheese whipped cream. Thank goodness the drink comes with a ladle and normal-size mugs to enjoy the hot cocoa. Made to serve ten people, the giant drink comes with a hefty price tag of $125. However, since you are sharing it with ten people, the drink comes out to $12.50 per person, which is a lot more affordable. Oh, did we mention this cocoa is spiked?

How Do They Make The Giant Red Velvet Hot Chocolate?

It all starts with the red velvet hot chocolate recipe. While the actual recipe is a secret, here's the gist of it. Whole milk, heavy cream, cocoa powder, red food coloring, (and assumable sugar and pure vanilla extract) are added to a large saucepan and brought to a simmer over medium heat. Bourbon is added off heat. Doesn't this drink sound amazing for Christmas or Valentine's Day?

Once brought to the table, more bourbon is poured over the marshmallows and set on fire, crisping the marshmallows to perfection. The red color contrasts with the marshmallows beautifully.

Along with the giant red velvet cake hot cocoa, the bar also serves seasonal giant Moscow mules that weigh 20 pounds and contains an entire bottle of vodka.
