The Houston Rodeo concert series, set to take place at NRG Stadium, includes Rodeo Houston 11 first-timers. Chris Stapleton, Sam Hunt, Aaron Watson, and Thomas Rhett will all make their rodeo debuts in 2017. Hunt's RodeoHouston gig marks the singer's second confirmed Houston show of 2017. He'll perform during Super Bowl Week at Club Nomadic alongside fellow first-timers The Chainsmokers.

While more than half of the performers will be first timers, a few holdovers remain. The likes of Alan Jackson, Luke Bryan, and Brad Paisley will all make their respective returns to the Houston Rodeo. Jackson's performance will mark his 23rd RodeoHouston gig, with Paisley's being his 11th, while Luke Bryan and ZZ Top will make their sixth appearances.

While Jackson, Paisley, Bryan, and ZZ Top will undoubtedly be memorable shows, the most notable return show has to be Willie Nelson's. It's been more than ten years since Willie Nelson last graced the RodeoHouston masses. Be sure to grab that ticket fast, because they almost certainly won't be available for long.

Other artists slated to perform during the series include Alicia Keys, Blink-182, Dierks Bentley, and Chris Young. Overall, the lineup features 14 country acts, four pop performers, two norteño acts and one R&B act. Tickets are available for purchase at rodeohouston.com
