But Twisselman says it was Shania Twain's bold and stylistic "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" that sent a lasting message to the heart of a rancher's daughter: Country music was her path and she was going to do it her own way.
"My favorite country song that helped shape and inspire me at an early age was Shania Twain's 'Man, I Feel Like A Woman.' I remember watching the music video and being so amazed by the artistry and fashion sense Shania brought to her music," Twisselman tells Wide Open Country. "I think I grew a love for fashion because I lived in the middle of nowhere on my family's ranch and never really got to dress up much. So seeing her combine that with her music was a dream to me."
