We don't always admit it, but soda is an American tradition. If you think Coca-Cola tastes better from McDonald's or you just really love Texas' Big Red, all that matters is that we happen to take our pop seriously here. So seriously, in fact, that there's even a pickle pop. Odd pickle facts aside, soda is just part of our culture and it becomes even more important during the holiday season when your calendar fills up with open houses and more parties than you can remember. And the one thing you'll find at all of those events is soda.

We all know soda isn't great, right? It may taste fine, but the stuff is really quite unnatural. There's no reason that anyone would ever need a Pepsi. Wait, what's that? Salted Caramel Pepsi is coming out? What?! Forget everything we just said. One Pepsi won't hurt, right?
Everything we know about Salted Caramel Pepsi comes from the above post and a Facebook Live video by County Market leaking the upcoming Salted Caramel Pepsi flavor. The video was shared to YouTube, and it is quite literally two dudes reviewing Salted Caramel Pepsi.
The caption on the video even says, "This may or may not be legal." No saying what type of witchcraft allowed these guys from County Market to get their hands on the unreleased Pepsi flavor. They also review a new Mountain Dew beverage called Holiday Brew. Here's that video.
The reviewers love the Mountain Dew Holiday Brew. It's supposedly just classic Mountain Dew mixed with Mountain Dew Code Red. They say it has a black cherry taste. They also say, "It tastes just like it sounds." We get that.
After sampling the Holiday Brew, they crack open a bottle of Salted Caramel Pepsi. Their initial responses are fairly epic. "That's weird," the dude on the right says.
"That is rich," the dude on the left answers. "That is a rich soda."
"It really is salted caramel."
"It's pretty delicious."
"It's really weird drinking."
We won't ruin the whole dialogue for you, but that bit felt important to report on. Again, no one knows how these reviewers got their hands on the stuff. They did, though, and they seem to like both of them. As weird as the Salted Caramel Pepsi is to them, they seem to love it. They say it comes out November 6 of this year, so keep your eyes peeled for that weird, rich beverage.
