Country music star Scotty McCreery alongside his wife Gabi Dugal, father-in-law Tre, grandmother Paquita and father Mike competed against past Saturday Night Live star Chris Kattan and his family on ABC's Celebrity Family Feud. Not to spoil the show, but the McCreery family made it to the Fast Money portion of the program. As seen in the clip above, the competition highlighted the newlyweds' sense of lighthearted fun.

Not one to cave under pressure due to her work as a pediatric nurse at Duke University, Gabi won a whopping 140 points in the first round of Fast Money by guessing the most popular responses to some off-the-wall questions like, "Name something you saw and immediately said 'I'll take it.'" Due to her excellent answers, the McCreerys only required 60 more points to win the show at 200 points.

When Scotty took the stage next to host Steve Harvey, he looked as cool as a cucumber, knowing that he could easily make up the 60 points. Even with an honest, but funny answer like "fried chicken" in response to the "I'll take it" question, Scotty lead his family to victory. The McCreerys won $25,000 for the charity of their choice - St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Scotty earned the added bonus of making Harvey crack up during the competition.

For those who might have been eyeballing Gabi's ring finger, the lack of wedding ring was due to the fact the show was recorded before their wedding. High school sweethearts Scotty and Gabi were married on June 16 this year at Twickenham House & Hall near Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina. Their wedding has been immortalized in Scotty McCreery's new music video for "This Is It." Fans who can't get enough McCreery can catch him on his current tour with dates through early November.
