Country superstar Garth Brooks performed his new song "Ask Me How I Know" at the 2017 CMA Awards. The song is featured on Brooks' latest release, Gunslinger.
According to the Tennessean, Brooks admitted to lip-syncing the performance because he's been sick this week.
The CMA Awards kicked off with Eric Church performing a brief segment of "Amazing Grace" followed by Keith Urban and Darius Rucker singing Hootie & The Blowfish's hit "Hold My Hand." The number wrapped with a massive chorus of country stars singing the song.
As for Brooks, he'll wrap up the North American portion of his record-breaking global tour in December. He'll return to Nashville for a weekend of performances that are sure to include some special guests. So far, the Garth Brooks World Tour has sold over 6 million tickets. That marks it as the largest North American tour in history.
