The country superstar told the crowd that the writing process really felt like therapy for her. Then, she tells the crowd you have to "take the good with the bad." Which is a sentiment we can all agree with on one level or another.
Called "Life's About To Get Good," the upbeat new tune certainly comes from a place of honesty for Twain. Though her positive outlook on life should be a real inspiration for many, seeing as she's been through a lot.
Musically, the song features a solid pop melody and what sounds like possible a little bit of banjo or even steel drums (it's a little hard to tell).
"Life's about joy; life's about pain," Twain sings. The crowd definitely enjoyed the tune, which felt like classic Shania Twain.
Twain also brought out a few special guests during her big set at the festival. She gave a glowing introduction to Nick Jonas, who she introduced as a new friend. So obviously he joined her as the male vocalist on her hit, "Party for Two."
Billy Currington performed the original vocals on the country version of the song, while Mark McGrath performed on the pop version.
But Twain didn't stop just with new music and Nick Jonas. She also brought young phenom Kelsea Ballerini to sing "Any Man Of Mine" with her.
Interestingly enough, neither Nick Jonas nor Kelsea Ballerini scheduled shows at Stagecoach this year. But hey, for Shania Twain, they'll make the trek. Twain explained how she met Ballerini at an awards show awhile back and loved how genuine she was.
Twain's performance highlighted Saturday night, as many fans showed up for the singer's comeback performance. She finished a "farewell" tour a few years back, but clearly the singer isn't done. With new music on the way and some great performances under he belt, you can bet she'll be on the road again soon.
