Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
It's doesn't get any more classic than our Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies! Serve these chewy cookies with a tall glass of milk.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 4 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 12-oz bag chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375ºF.
- In a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream together the sugar, brown sugar, and butter until creamy. Add in the vanilla and beat. Add in the eggs one at a time until incorporated.
- In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir into the butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Place dough in fridge to chill for 30 minutes.
- Once dough is chilled, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake until light golden brown, about 8-10 minutes. Serve warm or cooled.
Notes
If you like a really chewy cookie, cook these for about 8 minutes.
This dough can also be frozen and baked later.
