This Year's Starbucks Winter Drinks are Full of Holiday Cheer

There are many delightful things about the holiday season. For one, colder weather is the time for comfort food, from casseroles to soups to cookies. Another exciting aspect of this time of year is the holiday drinks that Starbucks creates. From the classic Peppermint Mocha to the yearly new creations, Starbucks winter drinks are always full of holiday flavors, the perfect cold morning pick-me-up or afternoon treat.

What Are the Starbucks Winter Drinks?

The coffee chain introduced its 2021 holiday menu on November 4th, and Starbucks fans were overjoyed to reunite with classic holiday Starbucks drinks like the Peppermint Mocha and Caramel Brûlée Latte. However, they also switched things up a bit, with a new holiday drink- the Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte.

This is the chain's first non-dairy holiday drink, made with Sugar Cookie-flavored syrup, blonde espresso, ice, and almond milk. The barista then tops it off with red and green sprinkles to add some Christmas flair! You can either have an Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte, or enjoy it hot.

Here's the official list of 2021 Starbucks holiday drinks:

  • Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte
  • Peppermint Mocha
  • Caramel Brûlée Latte
  • Chestnut Praline Latte
  • Toasted White Mocha
  • Irish Cream Cold Brew

This year's drink lineup looks as delicious as ever, full of options to appease all taste preferences. However, the Gingerbread Latte and Eggnog Latte didn't make the cut, so fans of these may have to resort to the secret menu or copycat recipes to taste those familiar flavors.

What About the Blends and Sweets?

Along with the seasonal drinks, Starbucks has the Christmas, Thanksgiving, Holiday, VIA Christmas, and VIA Instant Peppermint Mocha Latte blends. These are perfect to enjoy Starbucks' holiday flavors from your own home.

As for seasonal sweets, this year's menu includes the Sugar Plum Cheese Danish, Cranberry Bliss Bar, Snowman Cookie, and a new one- the Reindeer Cake Pop. The cake pop features vanilla cake and a chocolatey coating, and is decorated with the most adorable little reindeer face.

To add icing to the cake, the coffee chain has brought back their holiday cups, so you can savor your winter drink from a festive container! One cup has a wrapping paper design, another features parcels and ribbons, another has glittering holiday lights, and the last cup design is decorated like a candy cane. The beloved red cups are designed to celebrate gift-giving, one of the best holiday traditions.
