Just as she lent her songwriting talents to Little Big Town for their hit "Better Man," Taylor Swift has collaborated with Sugarland on "Babe," the newest single from their upcoming album Bigger, which comes out on June 8.

According to People, "Babe" was penned around 2013 when Swift worked with Train's Pat Monahan on the track for her album Red. Since the song didn't make her record, she held on to it and decided to offer it to Sugarland.

Since Sugarland's Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles loved the track, they decided to add it to Bigger as the only song that they didn't pen themselves. Now that the highly anticipated recording has been released, fans can hear that it fits in perfectly with Sugarland's sound and mostly showcases Nettles's voice with Swift chiming in on the chorus. This should keep the track sonically congruent with the rest of the record.

Despite the heavy lyrics dealing with a breakup from infidelity, the song has a sugary sweet sound to it. The juxtaposition gives the track an almost nonchalant vibe, as if the narrator already knows they'll be perfectly fine without the cheater in their life, and their ex-babe is really the one missing out.

"Babe" Lyrics:

What a shame
Didn't wanna be the one that got away, yeah
Big mistake, broke the sweetest promise
That you never should have made
I'm here on the kitchen floor
You call, but I won't hear it
You said no one else, how could you do this, babe?

You really blew this, babe
We ain't getting through this one, babe
This is the last time I'll ever call you, babe
This is the last time, this is the last time
This is the last time, I'll ever call you babe

What a waste
Taking down the pictures and the plans we made, yeah
And it's strange how your face doesn't look so innocent
Your secret has it's consequence and that's on you, babe
I break down every time you call
We're a wreck, you're the wrecking ball
We said no one else, how could you do this, babe?

You really blew this, babe
We ain't getting through this one, babe
This is the last time I'll ever call you, babe
This is the last time, this is the last time
This is the last time

Since you admitted it, I keep picturing
Her lips on your neck, I can't unsee it
I hate that because of you, I can't love you
Babe
What a shame, didn't want to be the one that got away
How could you do this, babe?

You really blew this, babe
We ain't getting through this one, babe
How could you do this, babe
This is the last time, this is the last time
This is the last time, I'll ever call you babe

How could you do this, babe?
I'm here on the kitchen floor, you call but I won't hear it
You said I'm no one else, we ain't getting through this one, babe
I break down every time you call, this is the last time
We're a wreck, you're the wrecking ball
This is the last time, this is the last time
You said I'm no one else, this is the last time
I'll never call you babe
