Team Blake: 'The Voice' Honors Blake Shelton With Special 10 Year Tribute

Of the 20 seasons that have aired on NBC's The Voice, there has only been one where Blake Shelton didn't have a contestant in the top three spots. That's a pretty remarkable record. He's the most tenured coach on the competition series, the only to have stayed since day 1 since Adam Levine exited after 16 seasons. His well-known record is most likely why all of the Voice coaches are regularly competitive with the country singer when fighting over new talent during the blind auditions each season. While all of the coaches in the show are incredibly talented, you just can't argue with Shelton's record. Not only is he one of the biggest voices in Nashville, but he just has an ear for new talent.

In the season 20 finale, Team Blake was the only team to have two team members make it as finalists in the top 5 -- Jordan Matthew Young and Cam Anthony. In addition, the competition show put together a sweet tribute for the country singer, naturally introduced by his fiance and former Voice coach Gwen Stefani. There were lots of tears as former Team Blake members honored their former coach and talked about how he had legitimately changed their lives and helped their music careers in ways they could have never imagined.

Though it's hard to narrow down, we've rounded up all of the best country music performances to date from members of Team Blake.

1. Jermaine Paul - "God Gave Me You"

Jermaine Paul wowed Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green in the blind auditions with his rendition of Avril Lavigne's "Complicated," but ultimately chose a spot on Team Blake. Not only did the R&B singer go on to win season 2, but gave an incredible performance of Dave Barnes' "God Gave Me You," which as we know, was also covered by his coach Blake back in 2011.

2. RaeLynn- "Hell on Heels"

Though the pint-sized Texas native was eliminated in the quarterfinals of Season 2, RaeLynn joined the series with a bang in her blind audition with this cover of the Pistol Annies jam, "Hell on Heels." She's created quite a career for herself in Nashville ever since. She provided backing vocals on Shelton's "Boys 'Round Here" and most recently opened up for Maren Morris on her Girl: The World Tour.

3. Cassadee Pope - "Stupid Boy"

Cassadee Pope became the first female winner of The Voice in the show's third season. Though she had numerous notable performances during the competition, we're partial to this cover of Keith Urban's "Stupid Boy." She blows it out of the water so it's no surprise that she's still actively making music in Nashville. She's also dating former Nashville star, Sam Palladio, known recently for his role in the Princess Switch Netflix Christmas films.

4. Danielle Bradbery - "Jesus Take The Wheel"

When Bradbery won the competition in the fourth season, she was the youngest contestant to do so at the time at age 16. With a powerful voice, she really wowed with covers of major female country stars including Sara Evans and The Judds, but we're really partial to how she handles Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take The Wheel." No one sings like Carrie but Bradbery really holds her own, making her rendition noteworthy.

5. Craig Wayne Boyd - "The Old Rugged Cross"

Craig Wayne Boyd had an interesting ride during Season 7. He was stolen by Gwen Stefani, but stolen back by Shelton, giving him yet another win in the competition series. Though Boyd had some stunning country covers of songs by Johnny Cash, George Strait, and Merle Haggard, the cover of this classic hymn is one of his best known from the show and ended up in the top 10 on iTunes.

6. Emily Ann Roberts- "Islands in the Stream"

17-year-old Emily Ann Roberts came in second place on the ninth season of The Voice. The young country singer covered everyone from The Chicks to Patty Loveless but this duet with her coach to the classic Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers song is really a standout. It's no wonder it hit the top 10 on iTunes.

7. Sundance Head - "The Climb"

Sundance Head is notable for winning the eleventh season and for some of his unique song choices. While he did an incredible job with Alicia Key's "No One," this Miley Cyrus cover is really outstanding. Fun fact -- he also competed in Season 6 of American Idol!

8. Chloe Kohanski - "Landslide"

After you hear Chloe Kohanski's cover of "Landslide" it will totally make sense how the 23-year-old won the 13th season of the competition. Though she started out on Team Miley, Shelton later stole her during the elimination rounds and guided her until the very end.

9. Kirk Jay- "Bless the Broken Road"

How stunning is this rendition of Rascal Flatts' "Bless The Broken Road?" He ended up coming in third place during the 15th season but he's definitely one of the most memorable competitors of the season.

10. Todd Tilghman- "Anymore"

At the age of 42, Tilghman became the oldest competitor to win The Voice in its 18th season. He's a lead pastor and a father of 8, but he proved that it's never too late to follow your dreams.

11. Worth the Wait- "Love Is Alive"

This mother-daughter trio from Alabama made season 19 incredibly memorable. Known for their perfect harmonies, Worth The Wait earned a four-chair turn during the blind auditions, going on to cover some amazing country performers like Tanya Tucker and Little Big Town. We happen to love what they did with The Judds' "Love Is Alive" though, and really hope we hear more music from these three ladies in the future.

12. Jim Ranger- "Blue Ain't Your Color"

Another standout from Season 19 was Jim Ranger who came in runner-up behind 15-year-old Carter Rubin. Ranger really does justice to this classic Keith Urban ballad and somehow manages to make it his own.

13. Ethan Lively- "You Look So Good in Love"

With season 20 in full swing, there are undoubtedly more incredible performances to come, but young Ethan Lively really blew us away with George Strait's "You Look So Good In Love." An obvious addition to Team Blake, we know there are big things in store for this young country singer.

14. Savanna Chestnut- "Hold Me Now"

Blake Shelton was the only coach to turn for Savanna Chestnut during the blind auditions of season 20, but we were really impressed with her country-twist on the Thompson Twins' "Hold Me Now." The other coaches also seemed genuinely impressed so we have no doubt that she could do great things under Shelton's tutelage.

15. Avery Roberson-"If You're Reading This"

Avery Roberson earned himself a four-chair turn with John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Nick Jonas all fighting for him. His rendition of the Tim McGraw tune impressed everyone but it was no surprise he wanted to learn from one of country's best -- Blake Shelton.
