According to Thrillist, the Wendy's location on 4th Street and Frankford Ave. in Lubbock, Texas has started a sign war with the Pure Water Ice & Tea Company just across the street. It all began when Pure Water Ice & Tea Company started offering up free drinks to Kliff Kingsbury, the head coach of Texas Tech's football team. When the news made its way to Wendy's, the restaurant manager put up a sign saying, "Hey Kliff, hungry and thirsty? We got you."
Now, the two restaurants have been switching up their signs daily with hilarious comebacks.

The feud seems to be all in good fun, and it's certainly a great deal in terms of freebies for Kliff Kingsbury. It's a clever way to keep up a friendly rivalry while also getting a little bit of exposure for their own businesses. So, which side are you on?
