One thing I absolutely love about cast iron skillets is their ability to sear steaks to perfection. The cast iron heats up evenly and hot, making it super simple to make a delicious restaurant quality steak dinner at home.

While I love using my cast iron skillet to make desserts, breakfast, and even bread, using it to cook and sear steaks will always be my favorite way to use my skillet. Take a look at these 12 cast iron steak recipes you can enjoy anytime of the week.

1. The Perfect Steak with Garlic Butter

According to Chungah, the mastermind behind Damn Delicious, the secret to cooking the perfect steak is using your oven to heat your skillet. Preheat your oven to broil and add the skillet to heat up.

2. Pan-Seared Ribeye Steak with Blue Cheese Butter

This cowboy steak is so juicy and flavorful from the pockets of fat in the cut of meat. Pan-seared and topped with a blue cheese butter, this bone-in ribeye only takes 20 minutes to fully prepare.
