Fan favorite and Team Blake Shelton member Brayden Lape leaned into his country influences for a sweet performance of Kane Brown's 2019 song, "Homesick." The stage was decorated with candles and low lights as Lape dove into the romantic tune. He opted to sit at the microphone with his guitar to sing the song, and he performed the first verse, describing a simple night in, with ease. The higher notes in the chorus allowed Lape to showcase his higher range yet again, and his voice stayed smooth and steady for the entirety of the chorus. For the final chorus, Lape stood up and gave his full energy to his voice, adding extra riffs throughout the chorus to show his vocal dexterity.

This rendition adds to this list of solid performances Lape has given throughout the show. Many of Lape's performances have been country covers, and some of his most memorable include Brett Young's "Mercy,"  Jordan Davis' "Buy Dirt" and Kenny Chesney's "Come Over."

This week, The Voice contenders performed songs that were chosen by their fans. Lape performed alongside his fellow Team Blake members Bryce Leatherwood, Rowan Grace and Bodie. The Top 10 is rounded out by Team Camila's Morgan Myles, Team Gwen's Kique and Justin Aaron and Team Legend's Parijita Bastola, Omar Jose Cardona and Kim Cruse. Each contestant is on the chopping block as America votes for their favorites, and the Top 8 will be revealed on Tuesday night's episode (Nov. 29).

The Voice airs on NBC on Monday and Tuesday nights. This season's winner will be announced during a two-night finale starting Monday, Dec. 12.
