Toby Keith name-drops a long list of heroes in his rollicking new single "That's Country Bro," a honky tonk primer on country music history.

The song, which Keith wrote with Bobby Pinson, features a rapid-fire list of names, from Jimmie Rogers and Patsy Cline to George Strait and Randy Travis and even references country and western themed television shows and movies such as "The Andy Griffith Show," "Hee Haw," "Bonanza," "The Dukes of Hazard," "Gunsmoke" and "Smokey and the Bandit."
Keith, who released his debut single "Should've Been a Cowboy" in 1993, seems to be on a mission to give a crash course in country to some of the genre's newcomers.
"If you're gonna be country you oughta know a little bit of somethin' 'bout the roots and the boots and the rhinestone suits that started this rodeo," Keith sings.

The singer will kick off his That's Country Bro! Tour on May 26 in Forest city, Iowa.
