Among the things Travis Kelce's gotten more attention for since his relationship with Taylor Swift went public last fall has been his singing. He was already one to quote the Beastie Boys, but those moments got less attention outside of sports coverage. As a full-fledged celebrity outside of his status as one of the faces of the NFL, Kelce can't sing Swift's "Love Story" or Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places" without it making headlines.

On Wednesday (Feb. 28), country star Josh Turner shared a clip on Instagram that shows Kelce as a could-be country covers artist. The footage shows Kelce singing Turner's "Your Man" a cappella to a captive crowd at a Lainey Wilson concert from 2023. Wilson played the show during last year's NFL draft, which was hosted last April in Kansas City, Mo.
Turner first shared the clip back then, joking in the caption that Kelce may have a future in the music business "if the football thing doesn't work out."
In the clip, we get glimpses at Kelce's commanding stage presence, his adorable and self-aware rambunctiousness and of course his dance moves.
"Now we know how [Kelce] REALLY caught [Swift's] eye," Turner wrote in the Twitter caption, adding that "Your Man" works every time.
"Your Man" first appeared in 2005 on Turner's album of the same name. It became the first No. 1 hit of Turner's career as well as a Top 40 pop hit. In 2021, it got certified as triple platinum for sales and streams that surpassed 4 million.
Turner's wife Jennifer loved the song for sure, appearing in the music videos for the original hit and the 2021 re-recording.
Notably, "Your Man" is among the mainstream country hits co-written by Chris Stapleton before he achieved solo stardom.
